How are teen periods changing?

Did you know, in recent years, girls are starting their periods as early as 9 years old, with the average age being between 10 and 16.

Research suggests various environmental and social factors might contribute to this earlier menstruation trend.
Our passion is to normalise periods for girls and help them have pain-free periods and positive experience. 

Rather than seeing periods as a burden, we want them to be celebrated as a natural sign that our bodies are working as they should.

Self-Help Tips During Your Period

  • Stay warm and avoid cold exposure. Keep your feet and lower back warm.

  • Eat warm, nourishing foods and drinks.

  • Use a heat pack or hot water bottle over your womb area.

  • Give yourself permission to rest and slow down during the first few days of your period. It will make the rest of your menstrual cycle easier.

  • Acupressure point for pain Spleen 6.  Gently massage for 2 minutes on each side a few times a day to assist with period pain.

often dealing with painful and heavy periods since their first menstrual period.
